Starting prices

Clear numbers, before the box is opened.

Local drop-off and mail-in use the same per-item and package prices. Mail-in adds shipping and a $75 minimum. These are starting prices while the shop is new. The number on your written quote is the one that counts.

Packages

Easy to say out loud. Anything past the package limit is billed at the regular per-item price. You ship it to us (you pay outbound). We ship originals back (we pay return).

Paper prints

  • Loose prints, up to 8×10

    Wallets through 8×10. Cropping, straightening, and basic color are included.

    $0.40 each

  • Loose prints, 500 or more

    Same care, volume price, in one order.

    $0.32 each

  • Oversize prints, 8×10 to 11×14

    Larger prints take a little more setup.

    $1.50 each

  • Oversize above 11×14

    Only when the stand and lights can cover it evenly.

    One capture of the whole page. Handy for magnetic albums.

  • Album pages plus individual crops

    Each picture is also cropped out as its own file.

    Local only. Frames stay together. Glare has to be controllable.

35mm slides and negatives

  • 35mm negatives, in strips

    Color or black-and-white. Inversion and basic color included.

    A simple price when the whole roll is still in its sleeve.

  • Basic cleanup

    Dusting the originals, plus straightforward color and exposure fixes.

    Bigger cracks, tears, or fading. Priced after a look at the picture.

  • Rush

    About 3–4 business days, when the calendar allows. Under 500 items.

Minimums

Local orders start at $35. Mail-in orders start at $75 before shipping. Shoebox Starter covers both.

Before work starts

Quotes are free. Work starts only after payment. Approve the price, pay here, then mail the box or drop it off. If the count is higher when the box is opened, you approve the new number before more work.
